October 26 marks the 27th Sanitation Workers' Day in Guangdong Province. On every evening from October 22 to 26, as an important part of this year's Sanitation Workers' Day Carnival, outdoor advertisement platforms in crowded areas of Zhongshan, such as electronic signs, neighborhood TVs, advertising boards and bus stops, were used to pay tribute to sanitation workers .

Ten sanitation workers, on behalf of the more than 10,000 in Zhongshan, accepted this tribute from citizens. They swapped their work clothes, for various types of formal wear including suits, full dresses and cheongsam, and appeared on outdoor screens in Zhongshan.

The sanitation worker teams in Zhongshan have been sweeping streets, clearing garbage and disposing of garbage for decades. They are responsible for cleaning up and transferring about 5,600 tons of garbage every day to create a clean city.
