A delegation from the Chungsan Lung Tu Association of Macau visited Dachong town, Zhongshan city on December 8.

The delegation first visited the reconstructed Antang Primary School and learned more about the school's history and operations.

Antang Primary School was founded in 1906. With the support of citizens at home and abroad, it was refurbished in 1985. In 2013, Antang Primary School was relocated to Zhuoshan Middle School due to the aging of teaching buildings which affected teaching work.

In recent years, the government of Dachong town decided to rebuild the school. The reconstruction project received strong support from citizens at home and abroad. Lou Sai-hou, chairman of the Chungsan Lung Tu Association of Macau, took the lead in donating 5 million yuan.

During this trip, Antang Primary School sent a souvenir to Lou Sai-hou to thank him for his support for Dachong's education.

The delegation also walked through Antang Community and remarked on its simple, elegant and clean appearance.
