Zheng Zhixiong, a native of Shiqi District, Zhongshan, chose to travel to relieve stress from work. Over the past ten years, he and his wife have traveled to 187 countries and regions, and the special souvenirs they collected from all over the world are enough for a small exhibition hall.

A camera, three lens, a tripod, a notebook. Zheng Zhixiong opened the 11kg mountaineering bag to show his equipment one by one. These were his "best friends" during his journey.

"My wife and I have visited the world's three most magnificent waterfalls, witnessed spectacular animal migrations in Tanzania and Kenya, and even climbed volcanoes together. With a certain accumulation of knowledge and experience, I can resonate more with local customs and cultures when I travel round the world, and I am more and more obsessed with traveling," said the 58-year-old.

Zheng Zhixiong added that every trip of his was well planned. From site selection, route planning to fund preparation, he would always make plans six months or even one year in advance.

He said that in the next two years, he and his wife will continue to try to achieve the goal of traveling to all 233 countries and regions recognized by the United Nations and donate all souvenirs they collect. "In this way, I hope that more people can enjoy traveling and understand local conditions and customs around the world, thus I can contribute to the spread and inheritance of different cultures."
