Jonathan Choi, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC, focused on the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and put forward many proposals this year. In the "Establishing a Cross-border Employment Mechanism to Help Hong Kong Youth Integrate into the Greater Bay Area" proposal, Choi suggested that efforts should be put in developing a Greater Bay Area youth employment mechanism, optimizing internship programs and simplifying individual income tax levies in the Greater Bay Area to bridge communication between youth of Guangdong and Hong Kong and make Hong Kong youth better understand and easier to integrate into the Mainland.
