On the morning of March 13, Nantou Town saw off its 7 new recruits.

At the Nantou town government courtyard, new recruits shook hands with people seeing them off.

Besides their relatives and friends, staff of the government conscription office and many other citizens also participated in the farewell ceremony. The town government also held a symposium on conscription in the auditorium.

All Zhongshan's 24 towns and sub-districts as well as 3 universities held ceremonies to bid farewell to the recruits on the same day. A total of 245 qualified new recruits will leave for military camps across the country after a short initial training at the Zhongshan Training Base for National Defense Education.
