Led by chairman Zhang Songfa, a delegation of the Macao-Nantou Zhongshan Fellow Villager Association returned to Nantou days before to learn about the social and economic development of their hometown. Xu Ningjun, secretary of the Party Committee of Nantou Town, warmly received the delegation.

At the symposium, Xiao Yanyu, deputy mayor of Nantou Town, introduced the latest social and economic development of Nantou Town. In 2020, the total output value of Nantou Town was 15.89 billion yuan, the added value of industry above designated size was 11.3 billion yuan, the fixed-asset investment was 5.1 billion yuan, and the total tax revenue was 2.88 billion yuan.

Xu hoped that the Macao-Nantou Zhongshan Fellow Villager Association could strengthen cooperation with their hometown, introduce more high-quality projects, and work together to build Nantou into a beautiful, open, high-quality and dynamic town.

Zhang said that the Macao-Nantou Zhongshan Fellow Villager Association would continue to support and facilitate the development of various undertakings in Nantou and jointly contribute to the construction of a beautiful hometown.
