A Party history education activity was held in South District on the afternoon of April 6. Three senior Party members told students their life stories through interviews in the event.

Veterans Yang Ming and He Ciyuan took the stage first. Sharing pictures and text materials, they told the stories of revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives and health to safeguard state sovereignty, security and territorial integrity on the battlefield.

He Ciyuan showed his prosthetic limb in the telling. He was hit by an artillery shell in a war, resulting in the high amputation of his right upper limb. After his retirement, he worked at a supply and marketing institution and continued to make contributions to Zhongshan's economic and social development. His stories moved many students.

Gao Yueying, a retired Party member and senior volunteer, also shared her experience and stories about serving the people after retirement.

Wu Yanfen, director of the Teaching Affairs Office of Maling Primary School, said that through this event, students can get a deeper feeling and understanding of Party history and national spirit.
