The 19th Zhongshan Reading Month and the 2021 "Reading in the Greater Bay Area" City Reading Tour were launched at Zhongshan Culture & Art Center on April 23.

The achievements of the "All People Reading" campaign in Zhongshan in the past year were reviewed, and the outstanding participants in the "Reading Series" were commended.

A video was released to showcase and encourage GBA teenagers to read revolutionary classics in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Qiu Shilong and Huang Huarui, students with study abroad experience, and Chen Bin, a youth representative of Macao, shared their experiences in reading revolutionary classics.

Big data on the "All People Reading" campaign in Zhongshan in 2021 was also published, showing that Zhongshan citizen reads 14.2 books a year on average.
