Wang, a delivery worker in Sanxiang Town, Zhongshan, returned to his job on June 20 after spending some time with his biological mother, but he was still too excited to calm down.

Wang was separated from his parents at the age of 5. It was not until 35 years later that he was reunited with his relatives with the help of the police in Sanxiang Town and Bozhou District in Zunyi city, Guizhou province. Unfortunately, only his gray-haired mother Mrs Chen was able to meet him. His father passed away two years ago.

On the morning of January 11, 1986, a relative took the 5-year-old Xiaobing (pseudonym) to the market in Majiawan, Zunyi (it was a county at that time). The market was crowded with people and they lost each other in the crowd.

Chen and her husband had been searching their son for the next 30 years but failed.

Criminal science and technology is advancing thanks to technological developments. In April this year, the police found that the blood sample of Wang matched with that of Chen who lives in Bozhou. After verification, the police confirmed that Wang was Chen's long-lost son.

On May 24, Mrs Chen, who is in her 70s, was finally reunited with her son at the Zunyi Public Security Bureau. "Thanks to the persistent efforts of the police in Zhongshan and Bozhou, we have reunited 35 years later!" Mrs Chen said.
