The Health Commission of Guangdong Province announced on July 1 that all people over 18 years old in Guangdong including those over 60 can take the first and second shot of COVID-19 vaccine.

Registration and arrangements for citizens over 60 willing to take the vaccine are underway. Following the vaccination guidelines of Guangdong Province, Zhongshan will soon carry out vaccination for people over 60. It is estimated that by mid-July Zhongshan residents over 60 years old will be able to receive the vaccine.

As of July 1, a total of 4,068,700 shots of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Zhongshan, with 2,114,100 first dose jabs and 1,954,600 second dose jabs.
