A media group led by Ding Mei, deputy editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency's China Comment magazine, visited Zhongshan from July 13 to 14.

The media group visited Zhongshan Technician College, Zhongshan Tsuihang New District Planning Exhibition Center, Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, Gunghe Space (Zhongshan) and Zuobu Village to investigate the progress in such areas as employee training, district planning and construction, Party building, innovation and entrepreneurship for Hong Kong and Macao youth, rural revitalization, and etc.

The media group also visited the "Neighborhood Clothes Bank" in Qiwan Community in East District, the Zhongshan Public Service Center, and Yongning Community in Xiaolan Town. They also experienced the "Guardian of the People" meal program launched by the Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation and investigated job-finding practices, urban management and societal improvement efforts in Tai Li Group.

The media group was deeply impressed by Zhongshan's achievements in such areas as Party building, high-quality development, spiritual civilization, innovative social governance, implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, and youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
