Guangdong Communication Group announced on August 2 that the tube section E11 of the immersed tunnel of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge was installed and connected with other sections.

Section E11 is 165 meters long, 46 meters wide, 10.6 meters high and weighs about 80,000 tons. It took 22 hours of continuous operation, the shortest time to install and transport an immersed tube section on the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge project so far.

At present, a total of 1,773.5 meters of the underwater tunnel has been completed.
