The construction of the new Qijiang River Bridge is well underway at its original site on August 5, with 29 pile drivers operating at the same time on both river banks.

The foundation of the main pier pile is expected to be completed by the end of August. According to the plan, the new Qijiang River Bridge will be completed and open to traffic by the end of September 2022.

`To reduce construction noise, the scheduled downtime is from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, and workers will have a short break at noon.
