August 19 marked the 4th Chinese Doctor's Day. On this special day, The 31st China (Zhongshan) Medical Team Aiding the Republic of Equatorial Guinea sent back their blessings from thousands of miles away: We wish Chinese medical workers a happy holiday! And success in your careers!

Since 1971, Guangdong has sent medical teams to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. As of this year, 31 medical teams with a total of 586 medical workers have been dispatched.

In January this year, the 31st China (Zhongshan) Medical Team Aiding the Republic of Equatorial Guinea went to Africa for an 18-month medical assistance mission. The team's 25 members brought Zhongshan's advanced medical technologies to the African people and won their praise.

Zhang Zhenshan, a member of the medical team, mentioned that 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of China dispatching medical teams to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. The team members are committed to fulfilling their duties as "diplomats in white" through their actions and doing a good job of medical assistance to foreign countries to strengthen the friendship between their countries.
