The 2020 China Urban MICE Industry Competitiveness Index Report was released on October 21, and Zhongshan was recognized as one of China's most competitive MICE cities in 2020.

The report analyzed 167 qualified sample cities. Among the 111 prefecture-level cities, Suzhou, Wuxi, Dongguan, Foshan and Zhuhai were in the first echelon of MICE industry development cities and Zhongshan ranked 6th.
