According to the Zhongshan Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first three quarters of 2021, the per capita disposable income of Zhongshan residents was 44,889 yuan, a nominal increase of 11.9% year-on-year, and a practical increase of 10.9% after deducting price factors, with an average increase of 7.2% over the last two years.

The per capita disposable income of urban residents was 46,620 yuan, up 12.4% year-on-year, or 11.4% after deducting price factors, with an average growth of 7.3% over the last two years. That of rural residents was 33,347 yuan, up 11.2% year-on-year, or 10.2% after adjusting for inflation, with an average growth of 8.2% over the last two years.

The growth rate of Zhongshan's per capita disposable income is 1.5 percentage points higher than the national average and 0.5 percentage points higher than the provincial average.

Over the first three quarters of 2021, Zhongsha's GDP totaled 252.754 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 11.5%.
