From January to October, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size was 113.006 billion yuan, up 14.4% year-on-year, with an average annual growth of 6.3% over the last two years, which was 0.2 percentage points higher than that in the January-September period.

In terms of modern industries, the machine tool industry, advanced manufacturing, and equipment manufacturing have averaged rapid growth over the past two years. The equipment manufacturing industry reached 38.046 billion yuan, an increase of 14.4%, with an average annual growth of 8.8% over the last two years.

Fixed asset investments in Zhongshan have increased by 19.8% year-on-year, with an average annual growth of 22.0% over the last two years. Industrial investment accounted for 21.4% of Zhongshan's total investment, up 39.8% year-on-year, with an average annual growth of 47.4% over the last two years.

Zhongshan's total import and export volume was 217.14 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.7%. Exports specifically accounted for 178.97 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%, while imports reached 38.16 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.0%.
