Li Weihua, a weightlifter from Zhongshan Sports School, was selected to the national weightlifting team (96kg) training program.

Li was transferred to Zhongshan Sports School from Shenwan Central Primary School in 2009. He entered the Guangdong Vocational Institute of Sports in 2013, and joined the Guangdong provincial team in 2016. After this year's National Games, Li achieved his goal of joining the national weightlifting team.

Next, Li Weihua will focus on preparing for the 2022 Asian Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
