The 15th Zhongshan Municipal Congress of the Communist Party of China concluded on December 27 with the agenda and all tasks accomplished.

During the Congress, the 15th CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and the 15th Discipline Inspection Committee were elected. The resolutions on the work reports of the 14th CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and the 14th Discipline Inspection Committee were approved.

The 15th CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, composed of 69 members and 13 alternate members, and 15th Discipline Inspection Committee, composed of 30 members, were elected by secret ballot.
