The IAAF recently announced the first world rankings for each individual event in the 2022 season. In the men's 100m (including indoor 50m-60m) rankings, Chinese sprinter Su Bingtian ranked 8th with 1,325 points. 

He is also the only Asian player in the top 10 in the world. 

Fred Kerley from the United States ranked 1st and Lamont Marcell Jacobs, the newly crowned Olympic champion, ranked 4th. Another Chinese sprinter Wu Zhiqiang ranked 41st in the world.
