The 53rd Session of the Standing Committee of the 15th Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress was held on January 10.

The meeting deliberated on the Regulations for Promoting Civilized Behaviors in Zhongshan City (2nd Revised Draft), and listened to, deliberated on, and voted through the report of the municipal government's proposal of incorporating the financial budget and final accounts of Tsuihang New District (including Nanlang District) under the examination and supervision of the Standing Committee. The meeting also listened to, deliberated on, and approved by voting the municipal government's report on submitting a proposal on boosting environment-friendly and beautiful countryside construction.

The meeting voted to appoint Zeng Yingsheng as deputy director of the municipal supervisory committee.
