Pipe section E27 of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge immersed tunnel was installed and connected with the other sections.

E27 section is the deepest pipe section on the eastern side of the tunnel. Compared with the other 5 non-standard pipe sections already installed on the eastern side, E27 is 41.2 meters longer, reaching 165 meters in length, and weighs nearly 20,000 tons more.

So far, 22 pipe sections have been installed with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge immersed tunnel, with a total length of 3,382.8 meters.
