On February 28, 2022, one positive case for COVID-19 was found in Tanzhou Town, and the epidemiological investigation is currently underway. In order to strengthen the epidemic prevention and control in an accurate and scientific manner, the relevant epidemic control measures are hereby notified as follows:

First, strictly define the lockdown and controlled areas. No.50-3, Yousheng Street, Yongyi Village, Tanzhou Town (坦洲镇永一村佑胜街50号之三), is now defined as a lockdown area, Touwei Group of Yongyi Village (永一村头围队) a controlled area and Yongyi Village (永一村) a prevention area.

1. Lockdown area, residents are required to stay at home, and daily necessities will be delivered door-to-door. 

2. Controlled area, residents are not allowed to gather or leave the area. Each family can only have one person going out for purchasing daily supplies at a specified time. 

3. Prevention area, residents are required to follow the management measures of "strengthening social control and restricted gathering".

Second, strictly implement temporary traffic control in Tanzhou Town. From February 28, 2022 on, all roads entering or exiting Tanzhou Town are under strict control. During the control period, residents can only enter the town, while leaving Tanzhou are not allowed. If one really need to leave the town for emergency medical treatment or other special reasons, it is required to present a valid negative nucleic test result within 24 hours. Those who do not comply to the rules will be handled according to relevant laws and regulations on epidemic prevention and control.

Third, strictly control public gatherings. Large-scale conferences, forums, training sessions, performances, exhibitions, sales campaigns and other public gatherings shall be suspended in Tanzhou Town. To strengthen the prevention and control of key places, entertainment places, Internet cafes, cinemas, fitness centers, bars, foot care shops, chess and cards rooms and other enclosed venues in Tanzhou Town shall be closed temporarily, and dine-in service in restaurants is canceled temporarily. Bus services are suspended.

Fourth, temporary class suspension for all schools in Tanzhou Town. Primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, nursery institutions and offline training institutions in Tanzhou Town suspend service temporarily until further notice.

Fifth, follow nucleic acid testing arrangement. All residents in Tanzhou Town shall have nucleic acid testing from 14:00 to 22:00 on February 28 in an orderly manner. All residents shall actively cooperate with the nucleic acid testing to ensure that all those in need are tested, observe the on-site order at sampling and testing sites, and take proper self-protection measures.

Sixth, strengthen self-protection measures. Avoid public gatherings, wear masks, wash hands and do cleaning frequently, use serving chopsticks and stick to other good living habits. In the case of fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, hyposmia and other symptoms, please go to the nearest fever clinic immediately, during which wear a mask all the way and avoid using public transportation.

This Notice comes into effect as of the date of release, and the above prevention and control measures may be adjusted according to the changing epidemic situation and prevention and control needs.
