On March 13, the E17 pipe section on the west side of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge underwater tunnel was installed deep underwater after the installation of the E26 section on the east side on March 11.

For the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge project, this is the first time in the world two pipe sections have been installed at the same construction window period, creating a new record.

So far, the installed pipe sections of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge underwater tunnel add up to 3,712.8 meters in length, about three quarters of the total length of the tunnel.
