In September last year, Zhongshan launched a special campaign named "Helmet Storm" for motorcycle vehicles across the city, which has seen good results. By the end of last year, the helmet usage rate of motorcycle drivers and passengers in 23 towns and districts was over 90%.

To maintain the fruits of their efforts, the urban force of Zhongshan Traffic Police will continue the campaign in downtown Zhongshan by increasing publicity efforts and strictly investigating and controlling traffic violations through May 31, targeting motorcycle drivers and passengers who do not wear helmets.
