Guo Wenhai, secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, met with Ye Zhirong, Party secretary and president of Guangdong Cable Network company on April 1.

Guo Wenhai said, great efforts have been put in rejuvenating Zhongshan through cultural development, and there is broad space for cooperation between Zhongshan and GCN. He hoped GCN can increase support for Zhongshan's economic and social development, contribute in the construction of Zhongshan Network Audiovisual Industrial Park, and make more contributions for major city projects such as the planning and construction of Xiangshan Ancient City. The CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and Zhongshan People's Government will fully support GCN's business development.

Ye Zhirong introduced GCN's reform and development. She looked forward to enhanced cooperation between GCN and Zhongshan. GCN will also promote the application of new broadcast and television network technologies to provide support to Zhongshan in terms of convergence media transformation, cultural industrial park construction, digital economy development, public service and etc.
