The Hongqimen Grand Bridge, a key project of the Nansha-Zhongshan Expressway, erected its first steel box girder on April 10. There will be a total of 77 steel box girders spanning a total length of 1,126 meters. 

Seamlessly connected with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, the Nansha-Zhongshan Expressway is an important link between core areas of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With a total investment of over 20 billion yuan, it is planned to be completed with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge in 2024.
