After 23 hours and 20 minutes of continuous operation, the E18 pipe section was installed on the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge underwater tunnel on April 24.

So far, the total length of installed pipe sections has reached 3,877.8 meters, exceeding three quarters of the total length of the tunnel.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge tunnel will stretch 6,845 meters, 5,035 meters of which is fully immersed underwater. The underwater section consists of 32 pipe sections and 1 final joint.
