Half ot the four-month fishing ban on the Pearl River has passed, but illegal fishing activities still happen from time to time. From 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm on April 21, the Zhongshan Marine Law Enforcement Detachment carried out a joint law enforcement action with the police and agriculture departments of Dongfeng and Nantou towns in waters on Jiya Waterway near Huangpu Sugar Factory. This was the largest law enforcement action in Zhongshan since the fishing ban on the Pearl River this year.
