After 10 hours of opereation, the 100th 60-meter concrete box girder of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge project was completed on May 15.

Nearly 70% of the 60-meter concrete box girders of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge have already been prefabricated. It is expected that the remainder will be completed in October of this year, and the box girders on the non-navigable section of the bridge will be erected this year, laying the foundation for the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge in 2024.

The total length of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is about 24 kilometers, of which the main bridge section is about 17 kilometers long and the non-navigable bridge section is about 11.4 kilometers long. A total of 138 steel box girders and 155 concrete beams are required.
