With the welding of the 3-meter girth joint of the last steel box girder finished, the Zhongshan Bridge section of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge (Shenzhong Link) was joined up on June 28.

The Zhongshan Bridge section is one of the key components of the the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge. With a main span of 580 meters, it is a dual tower, cable-stayed bridge. Its main tower is 213.5 meters high and connected with the bridge deck with 120 stay cables.

Next, the pavement and auxiliary facilities will be constructed for the bridge.
