Zhongshan diver wins gold at FINA World Championships

Zhongshan diver Lin Shan and her teammate Zhu Zifeng won the mixed 3-meter springboard final at the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest on June 30 (Beijing time). They won the third gold medal for China's diving team of the day, with a score of 324.15 points.

This was the fourth time the mixed 3-meter springboard event was included in the FINA World Championships. Previously, China won gold medals in the 2015 and 2017 World Championships.

Lin, 21, started professional diving training at Zhongshan Sports School in 2011. She won the mixed team diving gold medal at the 2019 FINA World Championships and women's individual all-around diving gold medal at the 2021 Xi'an National Games.
