This year marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland and the 3rd anniversary of the publication of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. On June 30, a special 25-hour joint news report program by media organizations in 11 cities in the Greater Bay Area was launched.

The news report program ran for 25 hours from 6 am on June 30 to 7 am on July 1.

Zhongshan Daily participated in the news report program, with reporters visiting the construction site of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, the Zhongshan Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Cooperation Base, Tsuihang New District and the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen to introduce Zhongshan's achievements in social development and contributions to the GBA's development. 

The joint report was broadcast by mainstream media agencies in 11 Greater Bay Area cities as well as on such new media platforms as Xinhua News Cloud, Toutiao, Tencent News, WeChat, Douyin and Kuaishou.
