The 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest entered its final match day on July 3, Beijing time. In the Women's Synchronized 3m Springboard event, Zhongshan diver Chen Yiwen and her teammate Chang Yani led the way and won the gold medal.

This is Chen's third FINA World Championships as well as her first competing in the 3m springboard event.

Previously, Chen had won a gold medal in the Women's Diving 3m Springboard Diving event.
