According to a notice released by General Administration of Sports on July 4, Su Bingtian, Tang Xingqiang, Liu Hong and Sun Wei among other athletes will be presented the "2021 National Outstanding Sports Contribution Awards".

In May this year, the International Olympic Committee announced that the Chinese men's 4x100m relay team won the bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The Chinese team is composed of Su Bingtian, Xie Zhenye, Wu Zhiqiang, and Tang Xingqiang.
