The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced that according to the ninth version of the COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines, the covered period of the Travel History Card would be adjusted from 14 days to 7 days. Channels such as SMS, web, WeChat applet, Alipay applet and Travel History Card app will be updated simultaneously.

The Travel History Card user manual has also changed its wording to "Certificates of traveling history including countries (regions) the user visited in the past 7 days and domestic cities the user stayed for over 4 hours can be provided for free".
