A delegation consisting of Keiji Kamei, consul-general of the Consulate-General of Japan in Guangzhou, Jason Choi, GBA president of Hong Kong Sun Wah Group, directors of Guangzhou Representative Office of the Japan External Trade Organization, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Guangzhou and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Zhongshan, as well as Japanese entrepreneurs, visited Zhongshan on August 30. Zhongshan mayor Xiao Zhanxin met with the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on further deepening cooperation.

On behalf of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and the Zhongshan People's Government, Xiao Zhanxin extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The Zhongshan mayor noted that the strong alliance between Sun Wah Group and outstanding Japanese enterprises would bring many high-quality resources to Zhongshan, deepen the strategic cooperation between Zhongshan and Sun Wah Group, and promote the Sino-Japan industrial cooperation.

Keiji Kamei said that Zhongshan boasts clear geographical advantages and high-quality transportation infrastructure, and it is one of the cities with the greatest potential in terms of development and industrial space within the Greater Bay Area. He hoped that mutual cooperation could be deepened ever further and that Zhongshan could continue to provide support and help for enterprise development.

Jason Choi said that Zhongshan, the hometown of the Choi's family with prominent geographical advantages and outstanding business environment, is a popular investment destination with wide prospects. Sun Wah Group will cooperate with Zhongshan in the fields of industrial integration and technology and make every effort to build benchmarking projects within the Greater Bay Area.
