Zhongshan reported 4 cases of COVID-19 on October 23. To further strengthen epidemic prevention and control in schools so as to reduce the risk of epidemic transmission, relevant requirements are as follow:

• All schools and after-school training institutions in Shiqi District, East District, West District and South District, Shaxi Town and Dongsheng area of Xiaolan Town are required to suspend offline teaching activities, and to provide online lessons instead until further notice.

• Faculties, staff, and students in other towns (districts) are required to present a proof of negative PCR test result within 24 hours before returning to the school.

• Schools are required to carry out online teaching activities in accordance with the schedule during the suspension period.

• Faculties, staff, and students in Zhongshan are required to actively cooperate with PCR testing.

The measures may be adjusted according to the changing epidemic situation and prevention and controls needs.
