The women's volleyball event of the 16th Guangdong Provincial Games concluded in Qingyuan City. Zhongshan's women's volleyball team fought hard and won fifth place in Division A and seventh place in Division B. The Zhongshan Volleyball Team took sixth place overall based on total game score, the highest position ever.

This year's event divided players into divisions A and B for the first time and attracted a total of 216 players from 13 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong.
