Guo Wenhai, secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, met with He Kebin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, also professor at the School of the Environment and director of the Institute for Carbon Neutrality of Tsinghua University, through a virtual meeting on November 22.

With the theme of "implementating the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and building the modernization of harmonious co-existence between man and nature", the two sides exchanged views on planning and promoting Zhongshan's economic development under the "peak carbon emission and carbon neutrality" strategy.
