Due to the severe COVID-19 situation in recent days, Zhongshan announces to implement a set of temporary measures as follow:

1. Suspension of business for some venues in Zhongshan. Enclosed venues including KTVs, bars, chess rooms, mahjong rooms, cyber-cafes, foot care shops, massage and spa centers, beauty salons, fitness centers, indoor swimming pools, LARP and escape games centers, as well as indoor venues including cinemas, gymnasiums, amusement parks, open-air swimming pools, indoor venues of tourist attractions and others are closed temporarily. Nursery institutions and offline training institutions suspend offline service temporarily. Dine-in service is suspended across the city.

2. Stay at home and avoid gatherings. Do not go out except for specific official duties, medical treatment and purchasing necessary daily necessities. Gathering activities are forbidden.

3. Strengthened access management. Epidemic prevention and control measures including health code scanning, body temperature checking, restriction of visitor flow and etc should be strictly implemented in public places. Villages (communities), residential communities, government organs, compounds and enterprises should set up control areas in a scientific manner and strengthen management of personnel in and out. No visitors for all the control areas.

4. All inter-province and inter-city travelers are required to take 2 PCR tests on the 1st and 3rd days upon arrival. In principle, you are advised to commute directly from the place of residence and workplace and avoid gatherings. People coming (returning) to Zhongshan within 5 days are advised not to enter any public places except your workplace.

The measures will take effect for 3 days starting November 25 and may be adjusted according to the changing epidemic situation and prevention and control needs. Towns and districts with reported cases should strictly implement relevant measures according to the notices the local governments released.
