Over 320 members of the CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee from all walks of life reported their arrival on the afternoon of February 5. They would attend the second session of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee that opened on February 6.

The meeting is scheduled for February 6 and 7. Municipal CPPCC members will attend the meeting and panel discussions on the economic and social development of Zhongshan, as well as public concerns over well-being, to perform the duties of political consultation, democratic oversight, and participation in the deliberation and administration of government affairs, and contribute their wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of Zhongshan.

The third session of the 16th Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress will take place from February 7 to 8.
