The second session of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee opened at the Zhongshan Convention Center on the morning of February 6.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, Zhuang Shujun, chairman of the CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, reported work to the meeting.

Ye Xinxiong, vice chairman of the CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, reported the proposal work since the first session of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee to the meeting.

During the first session of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, 427 proposals were received, 268 of them were placed on file and all concluded with replies, and the 159 proposals not on file were transferred to relevant departments for further consultation.

The meeting also commended 15 excellent proposals submitted by the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Committee in 2022, as well as 33 members with outstanding duty performance.
