The Zhongshan Office of Spring Festival Transportation released the results of the 2023 Spring Festival travel rush on February 16.

According to statistics, Zhongshan dispatched a total of 4.5982 million passengers during the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush, up 11.44% year on year.

Due to the resumption of the Zhongshan-Shenzhen and Zhongshan-Hong Kong ferry services, some 39,900 passengers were dispatched by water, registering the largest year-on-year growth among all means of transport.

In terms of road transport, 3.7878 million passengers were dispatched during the Spring Festival travel rush, up 5.33% year on year.

In terms of railway transport, some 770,500 passengers were dispatched, up 45.43% year on year.
