"This is my first time to visit Zhongshan, and I feel very honored and excited. As my grandparents are from Zhongshan, I consider myself to be from Zhongshan, too." Analisa Low hoped that through this meeting, enterprises in Zhongshan will know more about the investment environment of Trinidad and Tobago. She expected more Zhongshan enterprises to invest in Trinidad and Tobago.

Ouyang Jinquan welcomed Analisa Low and her delegation, and briefly introduced Zhongshan. He said Zhongshan is the hometown of the great man Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese. Over the years, Zhongshan has established friendly exchanges with Latin American and Caribbean countries. He hoped Zhongshan could strengthen interaction and cooperation with all walks of life in Trinidad and Tobago in economic, cultural and other fields.
That day, Analisa Low and her delegation also visited Zhongshan Museum and Zhongshan History Museum of Overseas Chinese to learn about the history of overseas Chinese from Zhongshan.
Trinidad and Tobago is one of the first Caribbean countries to establish diplomatic ties with China, as well as the first English speaking Caribbean country to sign on the Belt and Road Initiative with China.
