The Lingdingyang Bridge, part of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, or ShenZhong Link, a major state construction project, started the steel deck pavement on November 1. The first paving of the left steel deck of the bridge was completed on that day, with a finished area of 25,772 square meters, setting a new world record for the third time in single-day pavement area.
The Lingdingyang Bridge has a main span of 1,666 meters, and its main tower is 270 meters tall. It is an offshore steel box girder suspension bridge with the largest span and the highest navigable clearance in the world.
