The Nansha–Zhongshan Expressway Qianshuihu Bridge construction achieved a significant milestone recently, with the mid-span of its right-span beam linked up, thereby finalizing the upper structure construction for all bridges (except for precast beam installation) on the expressway.

The Qianshuihu Bridge is located in Madafeng Village, Zhongshan's Gangkou Town. The 23.25-meter-wide right-span beam boasts five one-way traffic lanes, spanning a total length of 220 (60+100+60) meters.

The Nansha–Zhongshan Expressway TJ06 contract section starts at the south bank of the intersection of Hengmen Waterway and Xiaolan Waterway, spans over Shagang East Road and Qianshuihu Lake, connects with the Zhongshan–Jiangmen Expressway, and ends at the Xinlong Interchange. The 4.358-kilometer section is built in accordance with the two-way six-lane expressway standards.

The Nansha–Zhongshan Expressway is currently under smooth construction and is planned to be completed in 2024.
