Zhongshan's CPI rises 0.3% in October

In October 2023, Zhongshan's consumer price index (CPI) increased 0.3% compared to the same period last year, a decrease of 0.2 percentage points compared to a September.

From January to October, Zhongshan's CPI climbed 0.5% from a year earlier, showing a decrease of 0.1 percentage points compared to the average growth of the January to September period.

In October, food prices decreased 1.9%, while non-food prices increased 0.8%. Consumer goods prices dropped 0.3%, whereas service prices rose 1.5%.

Affected by the international oil price fluctuation, the prices of fuel for vehicles saw an increase, with a 1.8% rise in gasoline prices and a 1.9% rise in diesel prices.
