The third session of the 13th Zhongshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened at the Zhongshan Convention Center on the afternoon of February 1, marking the commencement of the "two sessions" in Zhongshan.

The main tasks of this session include reviewing and summarizing the work since the second session of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, arranging the tasks of the 13th CPPCC Zhongshan Municipal Committee in 2024, discussing the government work report and deliberating other reports, and mobilizing all parties, organizations and people from all ethnic groups and circles to make contributions in reporting public opinions, building consensus, serving decision-making and promoting Zhongshan's high-quality economic and social development.
