Ivy Koo, a renowned Hong Kong musician, returned to her hometown of Guinan Village, Wuguishan sub-district in Zhongshan on April 8.

Rambling at the Camphor Park, Ivy recalled riding a bike through the camphor forest in her childhood. That distinctive fragrance of the trees became an integral part of her nostalgia later on.

Ivy's family was originally from Maxi, Guinan. In the music field, she once worked with many renowned celebrities, such as Jacky Cheung and Dave Wang.

This year, Ivy Koo is invited by Zhongshan to create a song for the High-Quality Development Project for Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns and Myriads of Villages. She promised with pleasure and visited Zhongshan's rural areas several times in search of inspiration.

"Mountains in the distance are calling, and smiles are missing you in the clouds. Walking through the land our parents once worked hard on, singing that we are not insignificant..." Ivy's new song is full of joy and strength.

Currently, the song is still in production, and it will be released later this month.
